Forces: a push or a pull
Two main kinds:
non-contact forces - force is exerted across a distance without any contact
magnetism - force between two bodies made of certain metals.
gravity - force of attraction between two bodies that have mass
(static) electric forces - forces created by electric charges
Contact forces - force of one body in contact with another.
applied - force of one body pushing or pulling on another
elastic - force of elastic (spring) materials being stretched or compressed (squished)
Normal - force of a surface pushing back against an applied force exerted on it.
Friction - a contact force that opposes motion
contact - force between bodies sliding across one another
wind resistance - force of air molecules hitting a moving body
water resistance - force of water molecules hitting a moving body
Diagramming forces
Demonstrate - forces acting on a car driving down the road

Produce a nice quality color sketch of your chosen/assigned scenario plus 2-3 others.
