Copy the following definition:
A substance is matter with composition that is always the same.
The room is set up with stations.

decide whether the object is a substance
In your binder:
describe the object
identify whether it is a substance.
Describe your reasoning in complete sentences.
go on to the next station.
Homework:
read pages 381 to 383 in the online textbook
clearly define and describe elements, compounds, and mixtures
be sure your notes discuss key differences between these three things
